Shipping Methods and Return Policy

SHIPPING CHARGE

The shipping charge for all products purchased by MODECO SA through the website www.modeco. gr They are calculated based on the value and place of delivery of each order.

More specifically:

The shipping costs of each order are calculated based on the value of the order and the postal code of the place of delivery.

Deliveries of orders in the prefectures of Attica, Thessaloniki and Larissa are made at home by privately owned trucks of the company MODECO or cooperating carriers, on the pavement of the declared address. For the above prefectures there is the possibility of raising to a floor, only if declared by the customer when placing the order in the appropriate field, for an additional charge which is formed as follows:
- 5€ plus VAT for orders from 0€ to 500€ (for climbing to any floor*)
- 10€ plus VAT for orders over 500€ (for upload to any floor*)

*In case the upgrade to a floor is deemed impossible at the time of delivery, the delivery takes place at the nearest possible point and the price of the charge for the service of the floor climb is returned to the customer.

The deliveries of orders to the other prefectures within the Greek territory, which are not mentioned above, are made by trucks of the company MODECO to an urban center (Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa) and then the products are transferred to a transport of the customer's choice or to a transport of the company's choice (if the customer does not propose the transport of his choice) and are made on the sidewalk of the declared address. In cases where the products are delivered by a transport company, there is no possibility of going up to a floor (unless there is further consultation between the customer and the carrier, for which MODECO SA bears no responsibility).

In cases where the delivery point designated by the customer is difficult to access by the means of transport of the company or the cooperating carrier, the customer should notify the company in order to take appropriate measures. Otherwise, the carrier has the right to deliver the products to the nearest possible point, which is accessible to the means of transport. Alternatively, he/she has the right to request an additional fee for delivery to the sidewalk of the declared address.

Orders are shipped from the factory of MODECO SA for products marked Immediately Available within 20 working days and for products marked Available On Order within 30 working days from the registration of the order.

The company has the right to modify the above terms, without notice, having the obligation to renew these terms of use of the online store.

ON THE ASSEMBLY OF ORDERS

For each product ordered through www.modeco.gr MODECO provides you with a form with assembly instructions, which you can find in pdf format on the page of the item you ordered.

MODECO does not offer assembly services for products purchased through www.modeco.gr , however it can put you in touch with specialized workshops.

RETURN POLICY

The terms and conditions described below, in relation to the return policy, apply to all products sold on the website www.modeco. gr of the company MODECO SA.

ORDER CANCELLATION

When you place your order on the website www.modeco. gr , you have the right to cancel your order within one day from the moment the order is placed.

RETURN DUE TO DELIVERY ERROR or DEFECT

In cases where the product you received is not what you ordered, please send a relevant photo to e-shop@modeco.gr email address, and after receiving relevant information, the products are sent back for inspection and verification of the error, with the transport company with which you received the products. In this case, the cost of transport is borne by the company MODECO. The company MODECO does not undertake the coverage of transport costs in case you choose another transport company than the one with which you received the products.

In cases where the product you received has a manufacturing error or defect, a relevant photo should still be sent to e-shop@modeco.gr email address and after receiving relevant information proceed in the same way to send the whole product or part of it after consultation with the company, in order to replace the defective product or the defective part of it.

In any case, the products you are going to return should be in excellent condition, closed in their original packaging. In case the packaging of the product has been opened, you should still take care of the good condition of the returned. Otherwise, the return cannot be accepted.

The customer has the option to return the purchased products within 7 days from the date of receipt. In case the return is not made within 7 days, MODECO has the right not to accept the return or replacement of the product.

In addition to the rights provided by this return policy, all rights applicable to consumers under the existing provisions and laws regarding the sales contract, as well as any rights arising in relation to the warranty terms of the products, are recognized in any case.

REFUND OF THE VALUE OF REFUNDS

If the return conditions are met, MODECO company refunds the value of the products you returned, including shipping if it is a wrong shipment or a defective product.

The refund is made as soon as possible after receipt of the products. In any case, it is done if a request for return is sent , and this is accepted, and after the products return to the headquarters of the company MODECO. The refund to the customer is made by the same means by which the original collection was made, unless there is another written request via e-mail to e-shop@modeco.gr address.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 7 days from the date of delivery of the products. Withdrawal can be made under the following conditions.

The withdrawal statement is submitted electronically at the email address e-shop@modeco.gr

As the withdrawal is unjustified, the customer must return the product in the condition in which it was received, with all accessories and leaflets accompanying it. The customer is charged with shipping costs for the shipping and return of the product and you only refund the amount that concerns the value of the returned product.
The refund to the customer is made in the same way as the original collection was made, unless there is another written request via e-mail to e-shop@modeco.gr
The customer is required to compensate the company MODECO in case he has used the product, other than that necessary to ascertain its nature. The reduction of the value of the product from the opening of the package until its characterization as used, is examined on a case-by-case basis by the company MODECO and is usually in the range of 20%-30%.
In case the products are received incomplete, the company has the right to claim compensation, the amount of which is determined by the condition of the products received.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

In case the product has been manufactured according to the specifications set by the customer or that was not in stock and a special order had to be made by the company.
The supply of products which, due to their nature, are inextricably linked to other elements.
The supply of products, which due to their nature are unsuitable for return, for health protection reasons, such as linen, pillows, coatings.

MATTRESS RETURN POLICY

If your new mattress is not as soft or as hard as you would like, you can return it or replace it with another one within 7 days of receipt!
