Japandi Style

What is 'japandi' that everyone is talking about?

The 'japandi style' results from the fusion of the 'Japanese' with the 'Scandinavian' style (japanese + scandinavian).

The new trend in decoration combines clean and minimal lines with natural materials and warm tones. It 'marries' the perfection of clean lines with the imperfections of natural and handmade materials, such as mat, rope, paper and ceramic. Both cultures have a very close aesthetic approach based on minimalism, functionality and appreciation of natural beauty for a serene and tranquil approach to life.

In Japanese style, the use of colors such as beige, brown, light gray, even black in some cases (for a more dynamic approach) and cool shades such as soft pink, green, light blue, can be balanced by using natural colors of wood, plants and objects in minimal lines.

The décor should be simple, with clean lines and natural materials such as glass, ceramic or straw while the tables should exude relaxation and tranquility.
